When is the Walk & Roll taking place?

Mark your calendars! The “Walk & Roll” event will take place on Sunday, October 13th, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, with registration beginning at 9:30 AM. Join us for a meaningful and empowering day of coming together to support the Little People of America (LPA) community. Your presence can make a significant difference in fostering awareness, inclusivity, and positive change.

How long is the Walk & Roll?

Embark on a heartwarming journey with the “Walk & Roll” event—a roughly 2-kilometer stride towards empowerment and inclusivity. Your steps will create ripples of positive change for the Little People of America (LPA) community. Join us in making every step count!

Are there rest stops along the route? What facilities will be available?

During the “Walk & Roll” event, we’ve got you covered with convenient rest stops along the way. Start your journey with peace of mind, as a bathroom will be available at the beginning of the walk. As you progress, a halfway point will offer another restroom break and a replenishing water station. For those seeking a shorter route, we’ve crafted an alternative path to accommodate your pace. 

What happens if it rains?

In the spirit of unity, the “Walk & Roll” event will proceed rain or shine, even in light rain. However, in the interest of everyone’s safety, if the weather turns treacherous, we may need to make the difficult decision to cancel the event. Your safety is our utmost priority. Updates regarding any changes will be communicated promptly.

Are there fundraising minimums to participate?

There are no fundraising minimums to participate in the “Walk & Roll” event. We wholeheartedly invite you to join us, whether you’re able to contribute financially or not. Your presence, support, and willingness to spread awareness about the Little People of America (LPA) community are invaluable. 

Is the route wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Absolutely! The “Walk & Roll” event route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The pathway is paved, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for participants using wheelchairs or strollers. 

Where can I park?

Parking is convenient for the “Walk & Roll” event, with a designated parking lot available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, you’ll find extra parking available in various areas throughout the park. 

Can I get a refund if I can’t participate?

While we understand circumstances can change, we want to emphasize that all contributions, including registrations and donations, go towards supporting our important cause and charitable efforts. As such, we are unable to offer refunds for the event. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and your contribution towards making a difference.
